This will seeem like a strange comment, but it reminded me of all the work going on at La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Whe you're there on a weekday touring through the place it's alive with workmen as the Spanish try to finish Gaudi's monumental work. There is a fasnating art studio in the basement where they are making plaster models to work from since many of the plans Gaudi had for the magnificent church, burned in a fire. Maybe someday they will finish and I'll yet get to see it, but I don't think it could be better than seeing it being built.
